Spud was the pick of the liter. His tiger stripe markings on a light honey colored coat made him look like a giant baked potato. Hence his name, Spud. There were a lot of derivations of his name such as Spud-nick, when he became airborne, Spudicus when he would stand on a kitchen stool to survey his domaine and Spud-NOOOOO! when chewing the furniture. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him laughed at his antics. He would run up the slide and bark for someone to carry his 72# bulldoggie body down. He would skate with his tonka truck and body surf at Spooner's Cove at Montana de Oro. He was an avid attacker of sprinklers and killed a great many snake-like garden hoses. But most of all he was my lap dog and travelling Spuddy Buddy. I will miss him so!
Thank you to everyone at Affordable Pet Hospital for helping Spud in his final days. He loved travelling and his favorite spot...visit his friends at Affordable. He knew you loved him.
